About the Lymphatic Forum
A biennial meeting built to bring together everyone working on lymphatic biology — and to bring the next generation into the field.
The Forum exists to provide a format for the exchange of ideas across the whole span of lymphatic research: to evaluate current views on the functional roles of the lymphatic vasculature in health and disease, and to attract early investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and students into an expanding research area.
That shapes how the meeting is run. Sessions are single-track, so the whole room hears the same science. The great majority of podium slots are filled from submitted abstracts rather than a fixed roster of invited speakers. Poster sessions run unopposed, and the strongest poster abstracts are promoted to plenary Nano-Talks. Travel awards are presented on the opening night, in front of everyone.
Lymphatic Forum 2027 is presented by the North American Vascular Biology Organization and co-sponsored by the Lymphatic Education & Research Network, with support from partner societies and foundations working across lymphatic and vascular science.

The Forum was inaugurated at Yale in 2013 and has moved every two years since, hosted by a different institution each time.
